THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING: JUSTICE AND PEACE or VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM!?

   Today, May 19, marks the 130th anniversary of the fall in combat of Jose Marti — Cuba’s national hero — in the war for the liberation of Cuba from Spanish colonial power! He who believed that the trenches of ideas are what we need to fight imperialism, and in his lifetime, materialized political, cultural, social and military work that embodied the idea of "homeland is humanity"!
  The followers of Marti's ideals representing revolutionary Cuba at the United Nations in 2003 declared: "It is precisely the government of the United States that has historically backed the principal terrorist and repressive regimes around the world. The US government was the main support for the bloody governments of Pinochet, Somoza, Duvalier, Batista and Stroessner; the military dictatorships in Guatemala, El Salvador and Argentina; and the apartheid regime in South Africa. Today, the United States government is the principal ally of the genocidal and terrorist government of Israel, which is massacring the Palestinian people with full impunity."
  The historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, wrote on July 17, 2014: "I only wish to express my solidarity with the heroic people who defend the last sliver remaining of what was their homeland for thousands of years," during Israel’s genocidal acts in Gaza/Palestine in 2014.

  While the ever tightening US genocidal blockade of Cuba accompanied by a cultural war continues; and while the horrific ongoing genocide in Gaza/Palestine is on; we learn from the indefatigable and exemplary leaders of the Cuban Revolution like Dr. Mariela Castro Espin — who is under incessant attack by the rightist forces — and Dr. Aleida Guevara that being at the forefront of the struggle for the just cause of Palestinians is exactly what a follower of Jose Marti must do today!
  Please assist us in making this year’s July 26, Cuba’s Rebellion Day, a day whereby we bring all and any forces out in a united principled manner to fight the ongoing violent, terroristic, genocidal acts by the US, Israel, western "democracies" and their lackeys for the sake of justice, peace and humanity!
