July 26th: Palestine & Cuba - Resistance & Rebellion

In addition to Nelson Mandela and the Cuban Five, Toronto Forum on Cuba and La Asociación de Cubanos JUAN GUALBERTO GÓMEZ are dedicating this year’s celebration of July 26th, the Day of Rebellion, to the gallant people of Gaza/Palestine who are selflessly defending the dignity and honour of their own as well as others’ by standing up to the incessant onslaught of the imperialists and their junior one-the Zionist/Racist regime of Israel.  Viva the international solidarity with the cause of the Palestinian people which is being expressed around the world. And we, friends of Cuba here in Toronto, express our hope that the movement for justice and peace of millions around the world will turn onto a movement of hundreds of millions for peace, justice and a better world where José Martí’s words "Homeland is Humanity" becomes a reality.
