The President of the United States, Barak Obama, met with the so called “dissidents” in the home of the Cuban American National Foundation's chairman in Miami last Friday. The Cuban American National Foundation is the organization that, to say the least, is responsible for having financed the terrorist attacks against Cuba in 1997 which, aside from the material damages, caused the death of an Italian, permanent resident of Canada, Fabio Di Celmo.
Amongst the "dissidents" he met, there were Guillermo Fariñas and Berta Soler from the Patriotic Union of Cuba and the Ladies in White respectively. It’s good to know that both of the said "patriotic" organizations defend the criminal U.S. economic blockade of Cuba, which has brought suffering and death to the people of Cuba throughout the past five decades. The United Nations approved, for the 22nd consecutive year, a resolution calling for an end to the blockade, with 188 nations voting in favor and only the U.S. and the apartheid regime of Israel voting against. But one wonders if Luis Posada Carriles, the self-confessed and convicted terrorist, trained by the C.I.A. in explosives, who orchestrated the bombings of Havana hotels in 1997, was amongst the invited guests. It’s pointless to even attempt to give an account of the multitude of other terrorist actions he has committed against Cuba in this short writing! Then again, maybe there was no need for Posada's presence, considering the fact that Guillermo Fariñas, his close friend, was front and centre with Obama! This demonstrates, yet again, that these are not "dissidents" but, rather, sponsors and advocates for terrorists and terrorism. So, why did the President of the United States visit the home of a recognized terrorist organization's leader to then be greeted by these unpatriotic people, who are not even on a par with the rest of the world, in demanding the lifting of the blockade? Of course, it’s needless to mention the fact that all the formerly mentioned groups receive a good chunk of money from the U.S. government in order to destabilize Cuba through acts of terror in trying to achieve their ultimate desires of annexing Cuba to the U.S. While the U.S. government attacks nations around the world under the guise of “fighting terrorism”, it is holding hostage four Cuban anti-terrorists who came to the U.S. in the early 1990s to prevent acts of terror planned against their people, which have thus far caused the deaths of 3478 people and permanent injuries to thousands more. What is internationally known as the case of the Cuban Five, has earned the respect of thousands upon thousands of ordinary citizens of the world who demand their immediate freedom, since their only "crime" has been to expose and prevent the very violent terrorist acts that are being carried out by the likes of the same sell-out individuals who are being greeted by president Obama. What an infamy: Obama embraces the terrorists in Miami, while holding the anti-terrorist Cuban Five in jail. As one of the Cuban Five, Gerardo Hernández, has very aptly stated, “A jury of millions will finally bring each of the Cuban Five home”.
