We in the Latin American and the Caribbean Solidarity Network express our deepest sorrow upon hearing of the passing away of Dudley Laws. Dudley was a voice for social justice, against all kinds of discrimination and a champion against racist police brutality. From the Cabbage town to the Regent Park to the Jane and Finch neighbourhoods, throughout Toronto and beyond we could hear Dudley leading rallies with "No Justice No Peace, No Racist Police". His steadfastness for justice shall accompany us forever.

We invite all our friends and allies to pay tribute to his memories in participating in one of the following functions.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday April 02, 2011 at the Revival Time Tabernacle Church, 4340 Dufferin St. at Finch.  He will be laid to rest at Glenview Memorial Garden Funeral Home 7541 hwy #50 (just north of Steele Ave) in Woodbridge.

There will also be a wake at the Jamaican Canadian Centre on Friday April1, 2011 at 6:00
