Antonio Guerrero.Havana, Cuba, Jun 12.- Truth can never be silenced, reason can never be destroyed, said in a message made public on Sunday the Cuban antiterrorist Antonio Guerrero, imprisoned in the United States for almost 13 years.
In the message to those attending the third International Youth Meeting in Solidarity with the Cuban Five unjustly imprisoned in the United States, Guerrero criticizes the silence about his case.
When we read about it in this country or when we look at some of its television channels, we wonder why they never talked about our case, says Antonio in the text read at the meeting by his eldest son.
Guerrero also spoke of how journalists in the U.S. have written inflammatory articles against the Cuban Five anti-terrorists, as they are known worldwide, to influence public opinion and consequently the jury.
This action violated journalistic ethics and the laws of this country, stressed Antonio, who also acknowledged the support of the younger generation.
A huge wave of solidarity accompany us, holding the truth and reason, and you young people have the strength, intelligence and the ability to boost that wave to achieve justice, Guerrero stated.
