IRELAND, SEPTEMBER 11, 2012.- The Irish “Free the Cuban Five” Campaign gave a warm welcome to Magali Llort, mother of Fernando Gonzalez and to Dr. Haymel Espinosa, daughter of the co-pilot of the Cuban airliner blown up by terrorist in Barbados, who on behalf of relatives of the Cuban Five and of the Committee of Families Victims of Terrorism, started a speaking tour of several Irish cities as part of the international events to mark the 14th year of their imprisonment.
The women were welcomed by leaders of the Irish “Free the Cuban Five” Campaign, members of Parliament and trade union representatives, who reiterated their commitment to undertake actions aimed at their release. As part of their programme in Ireland, Magali Llort and Dr. Haymel Espinosa will hold meetings with members of the Irish Parliament, the Northern Ireland Assembly, Derry and Cork City Councils and will speak at public meetings in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Derry and Belfast.
