_ Holguin, Cuba, Nov 17 (Prensa Latina) University students opened three Tents for Peace, as part of the activities of the 7th International Colloquium for the Release of the Cuban Five and Against Terrorism, taking place in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin.

Students from the University of Holguin, Pedagogical Sciences and Medicine will demand the release of Fernando Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Gerardo Hernandez, unjustly held in U.S. prisons, and the return to Cuba of Rene Gonzalez, another of their comrades, who is on supervised release in that nation.

In one of the tents, located in front of Expo Holguin, Pedagogical Sciences students from 13 Latin-American countries and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic will show some of their typical handcraft, clothes, food and drinks from their respective countries.

Among today´s activities are to show particpants in the International Forum some of the audiovisual productions, made with the help of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People, about the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters, condemned to serve long sentences in the U.S. maximum security prisons.

Argentinian student Tamara Ruano told Prensa Latina that sharing with her classmates and friends from her country, the truth about the Cuban Five, as they are universally known, is a mechanism to promote bigger solidarity with them.

Sahrawi Mohamed Sale Brahim highlighted that people from every country of the world should know that the Cuban Five are unjustly condemned and must be released and taken back to their country and their families.

The 7th Colloquium for the Release of the Cuban Five and Against Terrorism takes place in Holguin, from Wednesday to Sunday, with the participation of about 263 delegates from 50 countries.

U.S. pacifist Cindy Sheehan and Graciela Ramirez, coordinator of the International Committee for the Release of the Cuban Five, participate in the event with members of the Cuban Five relatives.

Giustino Di Celmo, father of Fabio Di Celmo, an Italian tourist victim of a terrorist action at a Havana hotel in 1997, is also one of the delegates.
