REVOLUTIONARY greetings to all present at the José Martí Anti-imperialist Tribunal:
Fifteen years of colossal injustice have not been enough to defeat our determination to resist. I can assure you, in my name and in that of my compañeros, that there is nothing which could achieve this objective. The heroic example of a revolutionary people, resisting the most powerful empire in history for more than half a century, is the principal source which feeds our spirit of struggle, our decision to resist and our confidence that we will return to our homeland. During all of these years, we have been conscious of the untiring struggle of Cubans for justice to be done, so that we might return to the heart of the people to which we belong. You are gathered today at the Tribunal of Dignity, where transcendental moments of our nation’s recent history have transpired, to commemorate our 15 years of imprisonment and to demand an end to this injustice. Your voices reach us today as they have symbolically arrived all of these years; your solidarity envelopes us in a human blanket and encourages us in the struggle. The righteous voice of a people, along with those of hundreds of thousands of friends around the world, cannot be silenced; your message cannot be ignored. Sooner or later, the bars which hold us captive must give way, so that we may return to our beloved homeland. ¡Venceremos! Fernando González Llort. GRANMA
