In Toronto, Cubans and Canadians call to put an end to the unjust imprisonment of the Cuban Five9/9/2013 Toronto, September 9th, 2013. On the afternoon of Saturday September 7th, the streets of downtown Toronto were once again the scene of the day of mobilization for the release of the Five, after a group of Cuban residents and Canadians represented in the group of "Friends of the Five "in Toronto, performed an act of protest that started in Dundas Square and ended in front of the headquarters of the U.S. Consulate in this city with slogans and banners demanding the immediate release of the Cuban heroes. Also as part of the actions envisaged in the day, on Sunday was official inaugurated at the Royal Theatre, the festival "Five Movies for Five", event that will cover five different neighborhoods of the city and will have exhibitions of documentaries and films based on the cause of the Cuban Five. The actions, which will run until October, are organized by the group called "Friends of the Five" composed of Worker to Worker, the Association of Cubans in Toronto "Juan Gualberto Gómez", the Canada-Cuba Friendship Association (CCFA-Toronto), the Toronto Forum on Cuba and other groups in solidarity with Cuba.
