VII INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM FOR THE FREEDOM OF THE FIVE HEROES & AGAINST TERRORISM.

Holguín, November 16th to 20th, 2011

The Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) invites all friends of Cuba to join us in the VII International Colloquium for the Freedom of our Five Heroes, prisoners of the Empire, and against Terrorism.

This Seventh Edition, from November 16th to 20th, 2011 in Holguín province will be a new opportunity for all justice-loving people to unite wills and efforts in the struggle to free the Cuban Five, prisoners for more than 12 years in USA jails.

Program of activities:


Tuesday, November, 15th

06:00 am Departure of delegates from Havana to Holguín province.
Place: ICAP national venue.


Wednesday, November, 16th

09:00 am  Riding a bicycle for the Cuban Five.
Place: From ICAP office in Holguín to Monument devoted to Che.
10:00 am Beginning of the cyclist competition”51 anniversary of ICAP”.
Place: Monument to Che.
03:00 pm Welcome ceremony, accreditation and orientation meeting for all foreign participants at EXPOHOLGUIN
06:30 pm  Opening of Tents for Peace.
Place: nearby areas of EXPOHOLGUIN


Thursday, November, 17th 

09:00 am  Opening of the VII Colloquium, information about composition of delegations.
Place: Plenary Room at EXPOHOLGUIN
09:15 am  Meeting with relatives of the Cuban Five, analysis of the achievements gotten on the VI Colloquium agreements.
Place: Plenary Room at EXPOHOLGUIN
02:00 pm Exchange of foreign delegations by geographical areas.
Place: Specialized rooms at EXPOHOLGUIN
04:30 pm Working session of ICAP's National Commission for the freedom of the Cuban Five and the International Committee with the representatives of the Friendship Organizations attending the 7th Colloquium at EXPOHOLGUIN.

Friday, November, 18th

09:00 am  Exchange in the municipalities about the struggle to free the Cuban Five.
Place: Some municipalities selected in Holguín province
09:15 am  Public hearing against terrorism.
Place: Boca de Samá.
03:00 pm  Screening of documentaries on the Cuban Five cause
Place: Room A at EXPOHOLGUIN
08:30 pm  Public hearings at Committees for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR), Peoples of the World accuse Posada Carriles.
Place: some CDR selected


Saturday, November 19th

08:00 am  Gathering in solidarity with the Cuban Five Heroes.
Place: Monument to Che
10:00 am  Closure plenary session and adoption of the Final Declaration and Plan of Actions of the Colloquium.
Place: Plenary Room at EXPOHOLGUIN
08:30 pm  Cultural Gala
Place: Theatre “Eddy Suñol”.


Sunday, November 20th  .

EXPLANATORY NOTES:

-These are net prices.
-Prices are not commissionable to Travel Agencies.
-The registration price ($ 15.00 CUC) includes accreditation and documents.
-Lunch is not included in the package. They will be covered by every person individually.
-There will be facilities to have meals and snacks in the nearby areas of the colloquium.
-Participants arriving in Havana will be transferred to Holguin by bus on November 15th. Departure is scheduled at 06:00 am in ICAP main venue located in 17 ST, № 301 e/ H e I, Vedado, Ciudad de La Habana.
Transfer's price is 20.00 CUC with breakfast and lunch included previous notification.
-Return to Havana City costs the same with breakfast and lunch included. It is scheduled for November 20th. Departure will be from Hotel Pernik at 06:00 am previous notification.
